The “Reform of Higher Agricultural Education in Armenia” project was a joint initiative by the Armenian State Agrarian University and ICARE funded by USDA FAS. The project was aimed to support sustainable capacity building in ASAU to be able to meet the standards set forth by the Bologna Declaration (1999) and be part of the European Higher Education Area. The project was launched in November 2006 and was implemented during four years, in four phases. A group of highly professional U.S. educators led by the Resident Advisor Dr. Glen Shinn of Texas A&M University did a great job in adoption of EU higher education standards in Armenia.
