Develop communication skills: Always seize on the opportunity to get experience by writing reports and articles. Develop public speaking skills by participating different events organized by student organizations.
Develop management and teamwork skills: Become a member of professional and student agencies. Take on active roles in outreach and volunteer activities.
Build your own professional network: Network with specialists in your area of activity, former students, and potential employers and maintain all this information.
Take part in career fairs: Introduce yourself to potential employers, collect business cards and brochures, booklets, and newsletters presenting companies. Use this opportunity to establish new contacts.
