The first and foremost outcome of the seminar for the ASAU students was that the right resume writing and interview techniques mean something and can play a certain role in finding jobs even in economic crisis situation. Secondly, Ms. Mnatsakanyan shared some interesting nuances that do not guarantee, however point out the possibility of a happy endin the difficult job seeking endeavor.

Lusine’s meetings with ASAU students take place on a periodic basis and they always add confidence to the students’ attitude to their job finding opportunities; she not only teaches the techniques but also provides a solid data base of employers and available job.

VivaCell-MTS seminar series at the ATC

ICARE invited  specialists from VivaCell-MTS company to provide a seminar series for the ATC seniors during April. These seminars are organic continuation of previous seminars conducted at VivaCell and here at the ATC within the cooperation established by the company’s CEO Ralf Yirikyan’s initiative in 2009.

This cooperation pursues career development goals for our students who need to be best oriented in today’s complicated and  ‘scarce’ job market in Armenia and, eventually - in their future workplaces (for many of the ATC seniors - in their existing workplaces).
Hovhannes Harutyunyan’s topic was “Quality control; example of VivaCell-MTS”. Sona Osipyan spoke about customer service, and Armen TerGhukasyan presented “Corporate sales and key account management”.

The topics were interesting in themselves; the audience was very active; and the speakers were well prepared. Cooperation with VivaCell-MTS had effective continuation in the form of upcoming eight-month summer internship at the leading mobile communication company to be participated by several ATC students.

VivaCell-MTS conducted a similar seminar series at the ATC in the fall semester, in October 2010.
